Match Preview written by Jamie Stonehouse
United are coming into this game after another successive win at The Northcourt last time out. The Yellows faced Maidenhead for the second time this season last weekend and came away with a comfortable 2-0 result, with two first-half goals by Molly Lygo and Holly Sellwood.
Abingdon will face their biggest challenge of the season this weekend against the Cherries, who sit at top spot after a 3-0 win against Keynsham Town last weekend, with their midweek fixture against Moneyfields being postpone.
AFC Bournemouth are fighting for that spot against Moneyfields, who are not far behind them, and this will fire up the Cherries even more this weekend.
This sets up a difficult game for The Yellows. The last time these faced at the Northcourt, Bournemouth came out 4-0 winners, despite a positive first half performance from United.
Abingdon have five games left in the season, with any points this weekend increasing their chance of FAWNL safety.
