Match Preview written by Harry Ware
Abingdon United Women open their February fixtures with a crucial matchup against Bournemouth Sports, in a 2pm kickoff at Fawcetts Field.
Chris Smith's side struggled for game time during the past month, with two games falling to the weather, meaning our last FAWNL clash at the beginning of January against Bristol Rovers. A Mollie Dyer goal wasn't enough to take anything from the Memorial Stadium that day.
However, much has changed since then, including a squad boost with the signings of Poppy Wannell and Maisy Godfrey, joining from Bristol Rovers and Oxford United respectively. Both are available for Sunday's game.
They face a Bournemouth Sports side who come into this game on the back of a heavy 7-1 defeat to Worthing a few weeks back.
With just two points separating the two sides in the bottom half of the Division One South West, it's set up to be a closely congested FAWNL fixture.
