Match Preview written by Jamie Stonehouse.
The Yellows are hoping to bounce back this weekend after an unfortunate result against Worthing, despite a positive performance in the FA Women's National League.
However, with a much improved performance, United will go into this weekend with their heads held high as they face a tough Maidenhead United side.
Maidenhead come into this game on the back of a great result in the Berks and Bucks FA Women's Senior Cup, winning 13-1 against Milton United.
This result for Maidenhead will have them very confident going into the game against Abingdon. The Yellows have won one game this season in the league, and like Maidenhead, have good form in the County Cup, but currently sit four places behind Sunday's hosts.
The last time the two teams faced was February 2024, when both sides gained a point from each other in a 1-1 draw. Abingdon responded well to an early setback in the first half on the day, to claim a well battled point in the FAWNL.
