Friday evening (16th May 2025) saw the club host our end of season awards evening, celebrating the successes of the 2024/25 campaign both on and off the pitch.
United Women's First Team celebrated their FA Women's National League (FAWNL) survival, after a tough season of battling to stay in tier four.
The Women's First Team were also joined by the Men's First Team, Men's Development Team and other club representatives on the night. Chairman Alan Midwinter, Vice-chairman Stefan Caira, Women's First Team Manager Chris Smith, and Women's First Team Coach Sam Froud presented the awards for the Women's First Team section of the night.
Goalkeeper Caitlin Crierie picked up two awards. After an incredible season in the United net, Crierie earned the Manor Flooring Player's Player of the Season, and was joint winner for the Manor Flooring Young Player of the Season. Due to a Cup Final with Procision Oxford, which was won by Procision in Slough, Caitlin was unavailable to pick up the award on the night.

The other Manor Flooring Young Player of the Year was Millie Hodge. After making her debut for The Yellows at 16 years old, the defender was vital to retaining our FAWNL status, making 26 appearances across the campaign.
Holly Sellwood won the RWR Cosmetics Aesthetics Goal of the Season vote, which was voted for by supporters. Her strike against Maidenhead United in February at The Northcourt, in a 2-0 win for The Yellows, came out on top.
Molly Lygo was awarded the Planet Recruitment Women's Golden Boot. The forward scored nine goals in all competitions, with some important goals for our FAWNL survival.

The Manor Flooring Manager's Player of the Season was awarded to Libby Gilmore. The Vice-Captain was at the heart of the United defence throughout the campaign, and also scored twice in the campaign.
Lauren May and Nell Boxall were also given special recognition for reaching 100 club appearances during the 2024/25 campaign, with a signed match ball from the women's first team. Charlotte Deeley, who couldn't make the night, also hit the landmark during the campaign.

Sam Froud, who will depart the club this summer, was also recognised for his significant contribution during the past two years at the club.
Other notable awards in relation to the Women's First Team included the Chairman's Award for Club Loyalty, awarded to Head Groundsman Phil Rose, after an incredible effort for maintaining The Northcourt pitch for almost 100 games during the season.
Women's Head of Media Harry Ware was awarded the Special Club Activity Trophy after a successful season on our social media accounts.
A massive thank you to our trophy sponsors Manor Flooring, Planet Recruitment and RWR Cosmetics Aesthetics, and to Mayo Digital Media, who helped with our presentation for the awards night.
