Abingdon United is delighted to announce the signing of promising youngster Millie Hodge.

Hodge came through the youth at FC Abbey Meads, before moving onto Reading's Academy.

Having also had spells at Bristol City, Swindon Town and Forest Green Rovers, Hodge now joins up with the Abingdon United Women's first team squad ahead of today's game against Bridgwater United.

Hodge said: "I’ve been warmly welcomed by the coaches and squad, which has contributed to me enjoying my short time at the club so far."

"I’m very excited to get into the season, and to help the club achieve great things."
