We're delighted to announce that Ellie Owen and Olivia Ward will continue with Abingdon United Women Development next season.

The duo were crucial to United's Chairman's Cup winning campaign during 2024/25.

Owen scored 7 goals in 15 games in all competitions, scoring crucial goals in both our league and cup campaigns.

Another key part of our frontline, Olivia Ward scored on 5 occasions in the 2024/25 campaign, including a crucial goal in a dramatic comeback against AFC Stoneham in the Chairman's Cup semi-final.

Ward made 23 appearances in all competitions for United Development last time out.

The retained signings of Owen and Ward follow the re-signings of Beth Hawtin, Amelie Sadler, Iva Georgievska, Izzy Hughes, Maisie Moore and Frida Ives, ahead of another exciting campaign for the club in 2025/26.
