Tomorrow from 2pm, the Oxfordshire football community will come together to take part in a 24-Hour Football match, for Pearl and her three daughters, Blue, Xiomara and Nay.
Pearl is a devoted single mum to three beautiful daughters, a passionate supporter of our footballing community, and a dedicated teaching assistant at a special needs school.
Mother of U14s player Blue, Pearl was recently diagnosed with incurable cancer. With starting treatment, it means Pearl will be unable to work, adding financial stress to an already difficult time for their family.
On Saturday afternoon, we come together to support them. Teams, players, and supporters from across the area will come together, playing through the day and night, to raise awareness and to raise funds:
- To support Pearl’s three daughters (Nay, Xiomara and Blue) as they navigate life without their mum’s income.
- Establish trust funds to help secure the girls’ futures.
- Ensure the girls continue their footballing journey whether that continues at Abingdon United, Oxford City and Barton, or within another local club- to ensure they can play a game that brings them so much joy and stability.
- Provide vital support for Pearl’s eldest daughter, who has a learning disability and requires 24-hour care.
